Job summary

Smith Transport is hiring CDL-A or CDL-B tanker drivers with strong pay and steady schedules. The 7-Axle tanker division offers consistent work, predictable home time, and generous weekly earnings.

Starting pay is $26/hour with overtime after 40 hours and an annual earnings potential of $104,000+. Expect 60–65 hours per week, with home time tied to location and an extended on-site schedule for drivers outside Washington, PA. Orientation is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required with tanker endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience with 18‑speed manual trucks.
• DOT drug & alcohol regulations knowledge compliant.

Responsibilities

• Operate 18-speed tanker trucks and ensure safe loading/unloading.
• Adhere to scheduled home time and routes as published.
• Maintain DOT compliance and safety standards.
