Job summary

Smith Transport is seeking experienced CDL tanker drivers to operate late-model trucks and maintain compliant logs on a steady schedule. Starting pay is $26/hour with overtime and potential annual earnings over $104,000, with home time and several weeks on-site commitments for cross-country drivers.

Orientation is provided in Roaring Spring, PA, with company-paid travel and lodging, and per diem pay. Candidates must hold a tanker endorsement and meet the DOT drug/alcohol requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Minimum 6+ months experience.
• Must be able to operate 18-speed manual trucks.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• DOT drug & alcohol regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker trucks for assigned routes.
• Maintain compliant logs and records.
• Adhere to schedules and home time expectations.
• Coordinate with dispatch for load assignments.
