Job summary

Smith Transport is seeking experienced CDL‑A or CDL‑B tanker drivers to join our 7‑Axle tanker division, offering steady freight, reliable schedules, and strong weekly earnings across a national network. You will handle long‑haul or regional tank work with predictable home time and competitive base pay.

Starting pay is $26/hour plus overtime. Expect annual earnings above $104,000 on average, with raises at 6, 9, and 12 months, and 60–65 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Minimum 6+ months experience.
• Must be able to operate 18-speed manual trucks.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Any candidate who has violated the DOT drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.

Pay & Schedule

Starting pay: $26/hour + Overtime pay

Annual earnings: $104,000+ average

Raises: At 6, 9, and 12 months

Weekly hours: 60–65 on average

Overtime paid after 40 hours

Home time schedule for Washington, PA drivers is 5 day on / 2 day off

Home time schedules for drivers who live across the US would be commitment of several weeks onsite and one week off
