Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) to support daily delivery routes with 10–12 stops per day. You will handle freight, complete required paperwork, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid CDL, hazmat endorsement (or willing to obtain within 60 days), and a clean driving history. 21+ with ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading/writing English.
• 2+ years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL.
• Must be 21+ years old; hazmat endorsement required or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered/picked up products.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs/maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals and needs.
• Learn and apply Linde’s operating practices to support growth.

Skills

Two years driving experience

CDL required
