Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. in Houston, TX is hiring delivery drivers to run daily routes, load and unload goods, and serve customers at each stop. Start times around 3:00am with 8–12 hour shifts, Mon-Sat, Saturdays required, delivering from a domiciled location closer to the customer marketplace.

Drivers perform cross-dock tasks, assist with loading pallets, and must comply with DOT rules. CDL-B preferred; High School or GED; prior route driving experience is valued.

Qualifications

• One year of route delivery experience or straight truck driving preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with customers and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and operational tasks along major routes.
• Drive daily routes with frequent stops and loading/unloading of packages.
• Unload product using hand trucks, pallets, or by hand at each stop.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures on receipts.
• Report discrepancies and return items as needed.
