Job summary

IDI: Insulation Distributors Inc. is seeking a CDL A/B Delivery Driver to support warehouse operations and customer deliveries. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, securing loads, and assisting with inventory and order entry.

The role emphasizes safety compliance and excellent service to customers served from our Charlotte DC. Candidates should have a CDL Class A or B license, 1+ years of warehouse or driving experience, forklift ability, and the willingness to perform multiple duties

Qualifications

• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, pallet jack and shrink wrapper.
• Identify product numbers using alpha/numeric codes.
• Use computer order entry and inventory systems.
• Maintain safety and DOT/OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customer sites using company vehicles.
• Confirm delivery details with customers before departure.
• Load and unload goods safely at sites.
• Secure loads and ensure proper handling.
• Receive stock replenishments and put away goods.
• Note damaged items and report to management.
• Assist in order entry and picking to fulfill orders.
• Perform quality checks and support inventory counts.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow safety guidelines.
