Job summary

Hilo Products, Inc in Hawaii is seeking a CDL A/B Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely deliveries of fresh produce across the island. The role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B Driver’s License.
• Current PUC Medical Certificate.
• Clean driving record with driver’s abstract.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with traffic rules and regulations.
• Assist in loading and unloading produce, ensuring careful handling to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver to correct addresses, obtain signatures and proof of receipt on tablets.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records including mileage and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with clients and address complaints professionally.

The CDL A/B Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely
delivery of fresh produce and products to various locations around the island.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with traffic rules and
• regulations.
• Assist in loading and unloading produce, ensuring that it is handled with care to
• Ensure timely delivery of produce to the correct addresses, obtaining signatures
• and proof of receipt using tablets.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, perform minor
• maintenance tasks, and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and any incidents or
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any complaints or concerns
• professionally.
