Job summary

The Valley Health System, based in Southern Nevada, is seeking a Supervisor for the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) team. The role leads the CDI staff and partners with leadership to drive the Clinical Documentation Management Program toward excellence in clinical accuracy and operational performance.

Required are a BSN with five years of CDI experience; Nevada RN license or IMGs accepted, and CCDS/CDIP preferred. Training experience is a plus in a dynamic health system environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Five years of CDI experience.
• Experience with CDI quality improvement projects required.
• Valid RN license in Nevada or IMGs accepted.
• CCDS or CDIP certification preferred.
• Training experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the CDI team as first-line supervisor.
• Contribute to planning, development and implementation of the Clinical Documentation Management Program.
• Support departmental goals and achieve clinical and operational excellence in CDI.
