Job summary

e4health seeks a CDI Consultant to review patient records for accurate severity of illness and documentation quality. The role requires RN with BSN and at least three years of clinical documentation experience, plus familiarity with Epic, Solventum, and 3M 360 systems.

Travel to field sites may be required up to 15%. The team supports hospitals nationwide, delivering clinical, financial, and operational value with a strong emphasis on education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN required and active licensure in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical documentation experience.
• Experience with Epic and Solventum systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to educate providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely reviews of patient records to ensure accurate documentation of SOI/ROM.
• Ensure POA changes are documented within regulatory timeframes.
• Educate providers and collaborate with coders and hospital quality departments.
• Conduct audits to verify accuracy of documentation and coding in DRG assignments.
