Job summary

Datavant is seeking a part-time CDQI Audit Specialist to evaluate CDI reviews for quality, accuracy, and compliance. You will provide feedback, education, and performance monitoring to support continuous CDI program improvement.

Ideal applicants have 5+ years CDI experience, 3+ years clinical work in an academic medical center, and RN/BSN with CCDS or CDIP certification. Proficiency with Epic, Cerner, 3M and Iodine is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years CDI experience or auditing background.
• At least 3+ years clinical experience in an academic medical center.
• RN or BSN with CCDS or CDIP certification; CDI skills competency test passed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct retrospective and concurrent audits of CDI reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide feedback and education plans based on audit findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize documentation and reimbursement.
• Maintain audit tools, scoring methods and documentation; mentor new staff.
