Job summary

Maryhaven in Columbus, OH is seeking a Counselor Assistant/Case Manager (CDCA) to join our residential program. The role supports counselors with intake, orientation, assessment, and case management services, and helps facilitate continuing care and community linkages for clients and their families.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in human services or behavioral healthcare, or an associate’s with relevant experience, and must hold a valid Ohio CDCA certification.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge from a bachelor’s degree in human services or behavioral health, or an associate’s with relevant experience.
• CDCA certification is required.
• Strong case management and intake/assessment skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, orientation and assessment.
• Support counselors with case management services.
• Make recommendations for continuing care and facilitate community linkages for clients and families.
• Assist with mental health and chemical dependency counseling when appropriate.
