Job summary

Del Valle Independent School District Child Development Center - North in Austin, TX seeks a CDC Coordinator to support student success by fostering cooperative home/school relations. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Director’s Certification, NCLB certification within 90 days, CDA, CPR/First Aid, and fingerprinting clearance.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification requirements as listed: High school diploma or GED, Director’s Certification within first year, NCLB certification within 90 days, CDA, CPR/First Aid within first month.
• Background check clearance required (fingerprinting) and approx. $50 employee fee.
• Knowledge/Skills include clear speech, written, presentation, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and community resource awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classrooms to provide coverage and maintain state licensing ratios.
• Coordinate with the director on personnel schedules and emergency procedures.
• Maintain records for licensing, NAC/NAEYC rules, enrollment, and volunteer reporting.
• Communicate with parents and community, orient parents, substitutes, volunteers, and staff.
• Support instructional staff by observing and providing feedback and posting weekly lesson plans.
