Job summary

Gentle Dental Albany Children's is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team in Albany, Oregon. This part-time position offers $23.00–$26.00 per hour depending on experience, with EFDA or EFPDA certification and CPR/BLS required.

The role focuses on creating positive dental experiences for children and families. You will assist pediatric dentists, prepare rooms and materials, take radiographs as permitted, and educate families on oral hygiene while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Current Oregon EFDA or Expanded Functions Preventive/EFDA certification.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and compassionate approach to working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures.

What You’ll Do

Additional Qualifications That May Increase Starting Pay

• Previous pediatric dental assisting experience
• X‑ray certification, as applicable
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
