Phoenix Renewal Treatment Services in Minnetonka, MN seeks a compassionate Behavioral Tech to join our mission-driven team. You will provide direct client support in a behavioral health and substance use setting, helping individuals progress toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of substance use disorder and care continuum.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess empathy for individuals with substance use dependency.
• Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
• Must participate in CPR training every two years.
• Tuberculin Skin (Mantoux) Test annually.
• Must comply with MN DHS, 245G and related policies on client rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to clients in a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting
• Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and incidents accurately
• Assist clients with daily living activities and maintaining a structured, therapeutic environment
• De-escalate crisis situations using approved behavioral intervention techniques
• Facilitate or co-facilitate group sessions and therapeutic activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support client care goals

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and supervision to clients in a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting

Requirements:

• Must demonstrate adequate verbal and written communication skills
• Must be knowledgeable in the field of substance use disorder, the AA and other recovery programs, and the CD continuum of care.
• Must be at least 18 years of age,
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess empathy for the substance use dependent person.
• Must possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
• Must participate in CPR training once every two years
• Must have a Tuberculin Skin (Mantoux) Test annually
• Must be completely familiar with, and comply fully with, the requirements of MN DHS, 245G, and the rules, regulations, and ethics of the MN Department of Health, Confidentiality: All staff members of One Twelve must adhere to, and respect, all Personnel Policies, (which were given to you, read by you, and discussed any questions you had, and if so, was explained to you) including internal, State and Federal, regarding client rights, anonymity and confidentiality of all clients and staff past, present, and future.
• Fraternization: The SUD Tech will not have any relationships with a
  client or other staff member other than what is required by this job description. It is forbidden for any One Twelve Staff Member to have a social, intimate, sexual, financial, or any other relationship with a One Twelve client, or a fellow Staff Member.
