Phoenix Renewal Treatment Services in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Tech to support individuals on their path to recovery. You will provide direct supervision, help maintain a structured, therapeutic environment, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery programs, and adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate adequate verbal and written communication skills.
Must be knowledgeable in substance use disorder, AA and other recovery programs.
Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess empathy for the substance use dependent person.
Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
Must participate in CPR training once every two years.
Must be familiar with MN DHS 245G and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and supervision to clients in a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting.
Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and incidents accurately.
Assist clients with daily living activities and maintaining a structured, therapeutic environment.
De-escalate crisis situations using approved behavioral intervention techniques.
Facilitate or co-facilitate group sessions and therapeutic activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support client care goals.
