Job summary

The New School in New York, NY is seeking a part-time CD CODE Tutor to help students develop HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. You will work in close contact with faculty to guide learning and meet student outcomes. The role is hybrid with on-campus presence possible on short notice.

Eligible students include Juniors, Seniors and MPS Communication Design majors. The position offers a supportive campus environment, flexible remote work, and a weekly schedule of six hours at $29.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be a junior or senior or MPS Communication Design student.
• Skilled in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Ability to articulate and break down code and interaction concepts.

The tutor specialists are expected to work in close contact with faculty to help students with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This position is open to Juniors, Seniors and MPS Communication Design students. Students will gain: Solid on-campus work with set weekly hours; The opportunity to connect with a faculty member and observe how they teach.**RESPONSIBILITIES*** Support students developing skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript,* Working closely with faculty on meeting fellow student learning needs and outcomes**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*** Be a Junior, Senior and MPS Communication Design students.* Skilled In HTML, CSS and JavaScript* The ability to articulate and break down code and interaction concepts**WORK MODE*** Hybrid - *Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with* *advanced notice**.
