Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine, for a 12-week assignment. The role requires acute care experience and CCU familiarity, with day shifts and a focus on patient safety and care quality.

Compensation is payment per shift, up to $624–$720 gross, equivalent to about $52–$60 per hour, with weekly pay and dedicated support from career specialists to help you further your nursing career.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification within 6 months of hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.
