Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a CCU Registered Nurse for a Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine. The position offers day shifts on a 12-week assignment with competitive pay per shift (up to $624–$720 gross per shift, equivalent to $52–$60/hour).

Responsibilities include monitoring care, implementing care plans, rounding, and ensuring patient safety. Requires RN license, BLS/ACLS, and CCU experience. BVP certificate within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.
