Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role supports Coronary Care Unit operations, with days shifts and responsibilities across patient care and unit management.

Earn between $52.00 and $60.00 per hour, or $624–$720 gross per shift; the position offers weekly pay and a dedicated career specialist to assist throughout the journey.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained
• ACLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained
• Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience in acute care; CCU or critical care setting required
• BVP certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounds to enhance patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Education

RN license (State Nursing Board)

BLS Certification (AHA)

ACLS Certification (AHA)

Experience: 1 year in acute care; CCU preferred

Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate
