Job summary

RN - CCU at Cynet Health in Houston, TX is a 6-week contract for an experienced nurse in Cardiovascular Intensive Care. You will work 12-hour night shifts, typically caring for 1:2 patients in a busy Level 1 Trauma unit with 18 beds.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of critical care experience and relevant licenses. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required, with additional responsibilities including ventilator management, hemodynamics, and rapid response to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience with ventilators, managing pressors, and hemodynamics (PAC, CVP, arterial lines).
• Ability to troubleshoot ventilators and respond to emergencies.
• Experience interpreting cardiac strips on monitors.

Responsibilities

• Float to similar units as needed within a Level 1 Trauma facility.
• Provide 12-hour night coverage on CCU with a 1:2 patient ratio.
• Support patient care with blood sugars, hygiene, turning, and equipment.
