Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the CCU day shift. You will work under RN supervision providing direct patient care and supporting clinical procedures in a fast-paced unit.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and eligibility for STNA/NA/MA licensure. Prior EMR experience is preferred. LMHS offers a collaborative team environment and commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• LMH S accreditation and required annual education related to certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, transfers, and transports patients to beds and between departments.
• Collect, perform, and document urine and glucose tests and quality controls.
• Collect, label, and enter specimens.
• Perform one-to-one monitoring for high-risk patients as requested by RN or physician.
• Obtain vitals and weights.
• Enter work orders in computer.
• Stock supplies at bedside.
