Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You’ll learn and apply evidence-based practices, educate patients and families, and support recovery through individualized care plans.

ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within specified timeframes; a nursing degree (BSN/ADN/Diploma) is required; one year of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure is required to practice.
• One year of acute care experience is required; cardiac step-down experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up.
• Translate medical information into understandable guidance for patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and manage treatment plans.
• Support continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practices.
