Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative oversight of department service functions and collaborate with unit Director/Manager.
• Assume administrative scope when Director/Manager absent.
• Develop and implement departmental plans including performance improvement activities.
• Oversee orientation and training of personnel in the department.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Ensure staff quality and efficiency during shifts and direct care as needed.
