Job summary

Motorola Solutions in North Carolina is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair CCTV cabling, racks, and network gear in indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring secure, weather‑proof installations and reliable camera systems.

You will travel 25–50% across states, use Avigilon or similar products, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams. A valid driver’s license and 3+ years in a field tech/technical support role are required; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years in field technician or technical support role in Low Voltage Security or Networking.
• Willingness to travel to multiple states.
• Experience with Avigilon products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair CCTV cabling infrastructure and related equipment.
• Terminate, label, and test voice, video, security, and data cabling; install camera drops and patch panels.
• Perform installation and maintenance in outdoor enclosures to ensure weather-resistant housing.
• Install and maintain rack-mounted equipment and manage network closets and data rooms.
• Communicate repair progress and coordinate with remote technical teams and the Service group.
