Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking a meticulous Low Voltage Technician to install and service CCTV, access control, and VMS systems.

The role requires hands-on electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and travel between client facilities for special projects. The candidate should have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 3+ years of verifiable low voltage experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of verifiable low voltage tech experience.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and program access control and VMS systems (cards, readers, cameras, doors).
• Coordinate with clients and outside contractors for installations and repairs.
• Service and troubleshoot systems per approved guidelines and standards.
• Read and follow installation prints and diagrams; document activity accurately.
• Respond to trouble and occasional after-hours calls; ensure security of information.
• Maintain a safe work environment and confidentiality of security data.
