Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Critical Care Transport (CCT) Nurse in Central, AZ for a full-time role with a $5K sign-on bonus and lucrative hourly pay between $38.11 and $56.57. The nurse will assess and treat patients during inter-facility transfers, lead the team, and ensure safe, well-stocked environments.

Required ICU RN experience or ED/CCT/Cardiac/Trauma RN experience, valid RN license, ACLS/PALS/BLS-C, and certifications such as PHTLS/NRP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS-C provider status.
• PHTLS and NRP provider certifications.
• ICU RN or ED/CCT experience (non-negotiable).
• FEMA ICS courses IS-100B and IS-700A.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in critical care during inter-facility transfers.
• Lead the team and ensure a safe, clean, and stocked environment.
• Coordinate with physicians and allied personnel for patient care.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.

Act as team leader and take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients and maintain regular equipment checks and stock.

Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellowcrew.

Nurses are accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
• PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• ICS courses, refer to FEMA -IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
• Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
