Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Riverfront Lofts to support the Property Manager in daily operations, rent processing, and resident services.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, knowledge of housing programs, and commitment to serving underserved communities. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

  • Two years experience in affordable housing preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a real estate related field strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Section 42 Tax Credit, Section 8 Programs, and Equal Housing Opportunity laws preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains physical and electronic files at a high standard according to CCH policy.
  • Ensures accurate and timely entries to property management software program including rent, service requests, applications, certifications, purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Adheres to Fair Housing, landlord laws, HOME, Section 42 Tax Credit and HUD Section 8 Program compliance.
  • Assists with supervision of site personnel including interviewing, hiring, training, and enforcement of company policies.
  • Conducts and tracks health and safety quality control inspections to detect violations of housing quality standards.
  • Monitors and documents security events, maintenance issues and resident behavior.
  • Provides high level of customer service and maintains positive resident relations.
  • Distributes notices to residents and assists with vacancy duties when needed.

Job Summary

The Assistant Property Managers assist the Property Manager with day-to-day management of CCH managed property. This position is at Riverfront Lofts.

  • Sound critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Consistently superb customer service skills; excellent interpersonal/assertive communications skills demonstrating a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Knowledge of homeless issues and demonstrated sensitivity to and a desire to work with underserved populations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Office 360, etc.
  • Able to work weekends as directed.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and meet CCH automobile insurance eligibility.
