Pay Rate:

$21.83/hour starting pay + a $43 weekly scheduling premium.

Category/Shift:

Rotating 12 hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) on a 28 day rotation swinging from nights to days weekly – 36 hours one week, 48 the next week (8 hours built in OT every check). A total of 7 DAY shifts, 7 NIGHT shifts, and 14 OFF shifts every 28 days.

The Job You Will Perform:

Successful candidates must have a desire and ability to work as a multi-skilled technician in a continuous process industry. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to safety, and successfully complete a rigorous assessment process.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be at least age 18
2. High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required
3. Excellent safety experience
4. Able to wear required safety equipment
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
6. Able to work a rotating shift schedule including:
1. Days & Nights
2. Holidays
3. Weekends
7. Able to work overtime
8. Able to work safely around moving manufacturing equipment and machinery
9. Able to qualify to operate mobile equipment (including overhead cranes)
10. Able to work in a team-based system (flexible – can rotate tasks)
11. Basic Math Skills
12. Measurable Mechanical Aptitude
13. Basic Computer Skills
14. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Physical, Dexterity, and Strength Requirements: (with or without reasonable accommodation)

1. Able to lift/handle 50 pounds occasionally
2. Able to lift 2 – 20 pounds regularly
3. Able to climb steps and ladders
4. Able to enter small vessels
5. Able to work from heights
6. Able to turn large valves
7. Able to stand or walk for 2 – 3 hours at a time for 10 – 12 hours
8. Able to work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold)
9. Able to work in a noisy environment while wearing hearing protection

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Advanced education preferred
2. Demonstrated leadership skills a plus
3. Prior experience with shift work a plus
4. Prefer 2+ years manufacturing and/or military experience
5. Prefer 2+ years of recent steady employment
6. Demonstrated success in an advanced work system
7. Demonstrated computer functionality
8. Competency with Microsoft Office Software
