Job summary

Nationwide Lifts is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic with a CCCM license to install, service, and repair elevators, wheelchair lifts, and related equipment across California. The role emphasizes independent work, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include on-site installation and maintenance, diagnostics of mechanical/electrical issues, and leading inspections to ensure compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CCCM license.
• Minimum 3 years of professional elevator mechanic experience required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience with elevator systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial elevators, wheelchair lifts, stair lifts, and dumbwaiters.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Independently manage service calls, scheduling travel, and customer communication.
• Lead and coordinate city and state elevator inspections to meet safety codes.
• Travel to CA job sites, including overnight stays as needed.
