Qualifications

• Graduate degree in healthcare administration, public health, social work, business, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, healthcare administration, or integrated care.
• Experience in project management, grant-funded initiatives, healthcare system transformation, or large-scale programs.
• Knowledge of CCBHC certification requirements, rural health initiatives, or system-level behavioral health transformation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate with executives and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison to the CBHA and other state and federal partners.
• Assess statewide and organizational initiatives to determine SMHC’s involvement and readiness.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and accountability structures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic initiatives with SMHC’s mission and sustainability.
• Lead CCBHC implementation activities and ensure funding compliance.
• Oversee Rural Health Transformation subrecipient contracts and reports.
• Oversee the development of a comprehensive Community Needs Assessment.
• Coordinate with Quality, Clinical, and Finance to embed outcomes in the QI framework.
• Monitor indicators for impact and continuous improvement.
• Prepare outcome reports for leadership and boards.
• Lead the CCBHC Advisory Board and coordinate with community stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings with community partners and educate on the CCBHC Model.
• Chair internal CCBHC planning and implementation meetings.
