Job summary

Community Care Alliance in Woonsocket, RI, seeks an Employment Specialist to provide vocational and rehabilitation services within the Integrated Care Treatment Team, applying ACRE competencies and the IPS model.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, eligibility for CCSEP/ACRE certification, strong oral and written communication, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. The position includes credentialing duties and client support responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Attend to multiple tasks with minimal supervision and meet service targets.
  • Be consistently punctual and reliable, and able to transport clients and conduct home visits.

CCBHC CSP Employment Specialist (Full Time)

Provide vocational and rehabilitation services to individuals in the Integrated Care Treatment Team through utilization of the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) competencies and the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Services field required
  • CCSEP or ACRE Certification preferred or currently in the process of pursuing certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Employee will assume full responsibility for the cost and efforts of maintaining any and all forms of licensure, certification, and credentialing documentation as required in their job description or sited in any Action Form as qualification of hiring, job promotion, or monetary increase. Subsequently, the employee will adhere to the credentialing requirements of all insurances/funding sources for which they qualify and provide Human resources and/or the Credentialing Specialist with the initial required documentation (licenses, liability insurance policies, DEA numbers etc.) and all renewals of these documents thereafter.

  • Consistently complete work in a competent, accurate, and thorough manner.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, attends to multiple tasks simultaneously, work with minimal supervision, and continually seeks new/better methods to organize/complete work.
  • Effectively accomplish duties by working with others, including team members, other CCA staff and/or outside agencies.
  • Regularly available for work, reliable and on time for all things scheduled.
  • Ability to move within the building to meet with clients and team members or accessing supplies to attend to client needs.
  • Ability to transport clients and perform home visits.
  • Demonstrate competency in clinical/technical or administrative skills, procedures, methods, and tools required to perform the job successfully.
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment nd meet or exceed expected service levels including employment targets.
