We’re seeking a Construction Contract Administration Professional to be based in Irvine, CA, responsible for leading construction contract administration services, managing project-related risks, and supporting project, business, and technical functions throughout construction. As a member of our CCA team, you will serve as a key member of the Construction Administration team supporting multi-discipline projects from bid support through construction and project closeout. You will primarily support federal projects for the United States Department of Defense (DoD) clients, Federal Civilian type contracts, and various Defense Contractors with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery methods. The successful candidate will lead projects virtually with some field presence as required by project and client needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with demonstrated experience administering complex construction contracts, building productive relationships with clients and contractors, identifying project risks, assisting with issue resolution, and exercising sound professional judgment while managing assigned responsibilities with moderate supervision.
Experience supporting federal projects for DoD clients, Federal Civilian, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), National Park Service (NPS), and various Defense Contractors is strongly preferred.
This position follows a hybrid work model. Employees are required to work from their assigned Jacobs office, client site, or project site a minimum of two days per week (40% of scheduled work time) when not assigned to project site activities. Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance of the hiring office.
