Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Maintenance Scheduler to develop, maintain, and coordinate integrated schedules for refinery assets, using Primavera P6, SAP, and Prometheus Maxavera to align scope, resources, and execution.

You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Reliability, and contractor personnel to optimize asset availability, performance, and cost, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced Primavera P6 scheduling skills.
• Advanced SAP maintenance management experience.
• Prometheus Maxavera integration knowledge preferred.
• Ability to develop resource-loaded schedules and analyze schedule performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Refining, petrochemical, or oil and gas industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage creation and execution of all maintenance schedules.
• Publish and maintain weekly and daily maintenance schedules.
• Develop and maintain integrated maintenance schedules using scheduling software.
• Set schedule logic, durations, resources, and sequencing with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor schedule performance and identify constraints and delays.
• Maintain schedule integrity with scope changes and resource adjustments.
• Schedule and prioritize activities by criticality, safety, regulatory, and operational needs.
• Coordinate outage windows with Operations to optimize unit availability.
• Analyze labor, contractor, equipment, and material availability to maximize attainment.
• Lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders to align execution plans.
• Measure and report schedule compliance and backlog execution.
• Support continuous improvement in scheduling processes and efficiency.
• Provide schedule forecasting for budgeting and planning.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating integrated maintenance schedules to support the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of refinery assets. This position collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Reliability, Inspection, Engineering, and contractor personnel to optimize schedule attainment, workforce productivity, and equipment availability. Utilizing Primavera P6, SAP, and Prometheus Maxavera, the position ensures alignment between planned work scope, resource requirements, equipment availability, and maintenance execution priorities while supporting refinery business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties

• Manage the creation and execution of all maintenance schedules.
• Develop, publish, and maintain weekly and daily maintenance schedules in accordance with refinery maintenance work management processes.
• Develop and maintain integrated maintenance schedules utilizing scheduling software and established scheduling methodologies to support efficient execution of maintenance work.
• Establish schedule logic, activity durations, resource requirements, and sequencing through coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Reliability, Inspection, and contractor personnel.
• Monitor schedule performance and identify constraints, delays, conflicts, and emergent work that may impact execution.
• Maintain schedule integrity by incorporating approved scope changes, resource adjustments, operational constraints, and equipment availability requirements.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment criticality, safety and environmental requirements, regulatory compliance, and operational needs.
• Coordinate equipment outage windows and maintenance execution plans with Operations to optimize unit availability and minimize production impacts.
• Analyze labor, contractor, equipment, and material availability and allocate resources to maximize schedule attainment and workforce productivity.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Reliability, and other stakeholders to communicate priorities, resolve conflicts, and align execution plans.
• Measure and report schedule compliance, schedule attainment, backlog execution, and other key maintenance performance indicators.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve maintenance scheduling processes, resource utilization, work execution efficiency, and schedule performance.
• Provide schedule forecasting and resource-loading analysis to support maintenance budgeting, workforce planning, and refinery business objectives.
