Job summary
GEO Reentry Services LLC in Westminster, CA seeks a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Facilitator to deliver evidence-based curricula and support successful community reentry for participants. You will facilitate groups using MRT, T4C, LIB and related programs, maintain attendance rosters, issue completion certificates, and assist in designing post-release plans to reduce recidivism.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to program guidelines are essential as you help individuals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, sociology, or related field is desirable.
- Experience in teaching or counseling in a correctional setting is preferred.
- Understanding of the Principles of Effective Intervention to reduce recidivism.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in group settings (MRT, T4C, LIB).
- Conduct risk/need assessments and create individual treatment plans.
- Maintain class rosters and attendance; issue completion certificates.
- Assist in planning post-release plans and community reintegration.
- Coordinate inmate program schedules to meet criminogenic needs.
