Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• Emergency services or environmental sampling experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule outside 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain qualification to wear a full-face respirator and Class III/Level 'C' PPE.
• Ability to routinely lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Sampling: Collect various environmental samples per protocols.
• Laboratory Analysis: Prepare and process PCR plates, analyze unknown substances in labs.
• Radiation Detection: Operate and maintain radiation detection equipment for accurate measurements.
• Decontamination and Sampling: Respond in PPE to decontaminate and sample hazardous environments.
• Sample Tracking and Documentation: Use EQuIS and maintain chain of custody docs.
• Equipment and Supplies Management: Track and order lab supplies and equipment.
• Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with customer personnel, agencies, contractors and internal teams.
