LOCATION: Pentagon (On Site)

DESCRIPTION:

The CBRN Enterprise Systems Architect supports designing and implementing architecture development efforts for managing CBRN threats. Provides expertise in creating, updating, and maintaining architecture data related to the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS). Acts as a technical liaison for architecture design and software upgrades, and evaluates IDEF1X data models as they relate to architecture products.

Primary duties include:

1. Producing full operational architectures for up to 12 requirements documents or Capabilities Base Assessments (CBA) annually.
2. Creating one overarching operational concept architecture per year.
3. Ensuring all products comply with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
4. Maintaining existing architectures.
5. Conducting at least one DoDAF structural update quarterly.
6. Maintaining legacy architectures using government-approved configuration management processes.
7. Facilitating the use of architecture software on Joint Staff networks.
8. Providing assistance to network System Administrators in maintaining and troubleshooting architecture software.
9. Supporting routine maintenance and migrations.
10. Reconstructing lost data as needed.

Education / Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum four years of CBRN defense or CWMD program-specific architecture experience and six years of general architecture experience
• At least three years producing military operational architectures
• At least two years working with bio-surveillance operational/system architectures
• Proficiency in IBM Rational System Architect and ERwin Data Modeler, with familiarity in Microsoft UML
