Qualifications

Description

DSA is seeking a highly qualified System Architect with an active secret clearance to join our team in Edgewood, Maryland. This candidate will support our customer Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND). The (JPEO-CBRND) exists to manage our nation's investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense equipment.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining Department of Defense Acquisition Framework (DODAF) v2.0 data architecture products and/or Data Models within standard data modeling tools (ERStudio, Erwin, etc.).
• Eight years of IT experience, preferably with government information systems.
• Experience with the UNICOM Systems Architect tool or No Magic Inc. MagicDraw Architect tool.
• Experience with DoDAF or TOGAF.
• Experience with databases and Data Modeling.
• Familiarity with JCSFL, JCA, NR KPP, UJTL, and NIEM.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to assess and clearly communicate technical and project risk.

Desired Qualifications

• Support of JPEO-CBRND and/or the DoD.
• Development experience in Java/JSP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Dojo, JQuery, Grails, PHP, .Net.
• Experience administering web application servers including Java Application Servers (Tomcat 7/8), IIS 7+, Jetty 8+, ActiveMQ, Karaf (OSGi).
• AI experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure in a Virtual Data Center environment.
• Installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor and test application performance, identify solutions.
• Ensure high levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Participate in designing information and operational support systems.
