Responsibilities

The Supply Technician will:

  • Inventory control: Conduct inventories, monitor stock levels and screen for expiration dates and verify serial numbers on all parts in accordance with documentation provided.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process incoming parts request from the squadrons and various locations, pull materials for packaging and shipping.
  • Logistics Coordination: Create bill of ladings, track shipments, establish delivery dates and time and resolve issues that may cause delays.
  • Vender Management: Communicate with buys, place purchase request, create back orders, report discrepancies with the certificate of conformity and other forms of documentation.
  • Data Entry: Input material request in the SAP, AMMO and AMMO BI systems accurately
  • Special Tasking: Provide support as required to build parts kits and various tasks from management.
  • Warehouse general duties: Perform daily tool inventories, FOD walkdowns and support equipment pre-operational inspections. Conduct cleaning stations to ensure areas free of hazards and debris to present clean and safe working environments. Report building discrepancies to management.
  • Program Instructions: Follow instructions outlined in the Government Operating procedures, Work Rules, Performance Work Statement and 4790.2D.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum 2 years logistics or warehouse operations experience
  • Must be customer-oriented
  • Ability to lift 50lbs daily
  • Experience with SAP, or ERP's preferred
  • Familiar with the specifics of the Navy logistics support procedures and FAR Part 45 used to support material requirements preferred
  • Experience in the maintenance and updating of aircraft data collection systems files
  • Extensive working knowledge of Government Property Control procedures
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of hire
  • Have a state issued drivers license
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
CBA Non-negotiable hourly Pay: $46.60
