Job summary

CCI Systems is seeking a CATV Survey Technician based near South Bend, Indiana, to perform field walkouts for existing and new cable plants. You will collect detailed field notes, verify project details with customers, and determine efficient routes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include conducting commercial walkouts, gathering footage with measuring devices, updating maps, and collaborating with teams and customers to design or upgrade CATV systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cable mapping experience.
• Hands-on CATV as-built and new build walkouts.
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and diagrams for CATV projects.
• Ability to digitally draw using OCALC, SpidaCalc, Katapult, ArcGIS, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Perform walkout surveys to provide new services to end users.
• Conduct as-built or new build walkouts.
• Gather footage using measuring wheels, laser rangefinders, or digital devices.
• Document locations and data on maps or tablets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and customer specifications.
• Maintain organized, clean, and stocked vehicles.
• Collaborate with teammates and customers to implement solutions.
