Job summary

H2ajobs seeks workers for winter cattle care. Duties include bringing cattle in, examining and vaccinating, feeding, and record-keeping. You will mend fences and maintain cattle structures through the season.

Housing and meals are provided by the employer; transportation is arranged. Visa processing costs are supported for H-2A workers, with reimbursement and timing outlined by the contract terms.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in cattle care or ranch work.
• Ability to obtain driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Bring cattle in from the field for the winter.
• Examine, vaccinate, care for and feed cattle.
• Keep records of cattle health and movements.
• Mend fences and maintain all cattle structures.
• Maintain facilities until cattle return to fields in spring.
