Job summary

H2ajobs seeks Farm Laborers to assist on cattle operations in the United States. You will feed, water, herd, catch, load, castrate, brand and weigh livestock, while examining animals for sickness or injury. Assist with medications, vaccinations, calving and routine cattle care, and help maintain cattle records.

Housing is provided with fully equipped kitchens and weekly grocery access. The employer reimburses travel costs from residence to worksite and back per H2A rules.

Responsibilities

• Feeding, watering, herding, catching, loading, castrating, branding and weighing of animals.
• Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries.
• Assisting in administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides.
• Assisting with Calving, inspecting, maintaining and repairing cattle equipment, buildings, pens, yards and fences.
• Maintaining records on cattle.
• Transport: Reimbursed travel costs to the workplace and back to residence as per regulations.
