Job summary

Cobalt Cattle Company LLC in Kansas seeks a Processing/Receiving Associate to ensure animal health protocols are followed while handling cattle with low-stress methods and maintaining a safe work environment.

You will review diagnoses, process cattle, update health records, assist with necropsies, and ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations, with a focus on accuracy and safety in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and related experience acceptable
• Ability to read simple words and numbers; basic math
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Valid driver license; English communication preferred

Responsibilities

• Review animal diagnoses and follow directives from Cattle Manager and Coordinator
• Process cattle according to protocol and maintain safety procedures
• Update animal health records and ear tags
• Assist in necropsies and prepare necropsy reports
• Return unused medicines and record usage
• Comply with OSHA, FDA, EPA regulations and maintain records
