Job summary

Holy Trinity School in El Cajon, California, is seeking a nurturing, faith-filled Transitional Kindergarten teacher. The role focuses on introducing young learners to a love of learning within a joyful Catholic environment and supports their academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a desire to help students grow in faith, virtue, and intellect.
• Cleared California multiple or single subject teaching credential preferred.
• Basic Catechetical Certification preferred.
• Experience teaching in an elementary school classroom.
• Team-oriented, mission-driven mindset and Catholic faith.

Responsibilities

• Preparing differentiated lesson plans to meet learning needs.
• Create a safe, loving learning environment.
• Support school culture of faith, academic achievement, virtue formation.
• Plan and execute lessons in assigned content areas.
• Engage in summer training and ongoing professional development.
• Help students develop a personal relationship with Christ.
