Job summary

Holy Trinity School in El Cajon, California, is seeking a dedicated educator to lead a combined 5th and 6th grade classroom, teaching religion, math, science, social studies, and English language arts. This role offers ownership of a classroom and the chance to build deep relationships with students across two grades.

Qualifications

• Must possess a cleared California multiple or single subject teaching credential (preferred).
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience teaching in an elementary school classroom is preferred.
• Passion for being part of a mission-driven school culture and faith-based education.
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced school environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, personalize, and execute lesson plans in assigned content areas.
• Lead instruction with a rigorous curriculum and differentiate as needed.
• Engage families through communication and conferences.
• Support faith formation and virtue through daily teaching and school culture.
• Participate in up to three weeks of summer training before the school year.
