Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes School in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher for PreK-6. The role includes planning lessons, preparing instructional materials, and communicating with parents and administration while upholding the parish school mission.

The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons, integrating faith elements and collaborating with classroom teachers. Strong character and ability to work with diverse learners are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, ideally with a concentration in Spanish, or to be eligible to obtain it.
• Experience teaching Spanish in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to move teaching materials.

Responsibilities

• Integrate values and attitudes that guide students in line with Gospel teachings.
• Plan, prepare, teach, and interact with students professionally.
• Deliver engaging Spanish lessons for PreK–6th grade.
• Collaborate with teachers to align Spanish with classroom themes.
• Design hands-on learning experiences and assessments to measure content and skills.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
• Carry out duties assigned by the principal.
