Job summary

Ascension Catholic Academy seeks a substitute teacher to support four parish schools in the Minneapolis area. This as-needed role fulfills full classroom responsibilities for the duration of each assignment, including leading daily prayer and supervising Mass when needed.

Teachers will follow the school's curriculum, implement the Religion curriculum, and work with diverse learners to deliver engaging lessons while maintaining a safe classroom and professional integrity at all times.

Qualifications

• Provide instruction in all assigned subjects following the school's curriculum, standards, and mission.
• Design and deliver daily lessons and assessments for diverse learners.
• Maintain a safe, predictable classroom environment with clear behavior expectations.
• Support social, emotional, and spiritual development of scholars.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily prayer and supervise at Mass when required.
