Job summary

Palmer Catholic Academy seeks a full-time PE teacher for the 2026-27 year to support faith-based education in a Catholic school setting. The teacher will align instruction with church teachings, collaborate with the principal, and contribute to a faith community.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, active Florida Professional Educator Certification, and willingness to obtain Basic Diocesan Ministry Certification within two years. Evening and weekend events may be required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Must maintain Professional Educator certification in the State of Florida.
• Must have or be able to obtain within two years Basic Diocesan Ministry Certification.
• Ability to respect and promote Catholic mission in instruction.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and assesses students in alignment with Catholic teachings and school policies.
• Collaborates with the principal to build a faith-filled learning community.
• Plans lessons designed to meet academic goals and classroom needs.
