St. Michael Academy is seeking a Long-Term Substitute to support Catholic education and the school’s mission under the direction of the principal. The role requires preparing lessons, integrating Catholic curriculum, and upholding faith-based values in classroom activities.

The candidate will collaborate with the principal, demonstrate flexibility, and engage students while maintaining professional conduct and safeguarding policies. Evening/weekend adaptability is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Professional Educator certification in Florida preferred.
• Must successfully pass criminal background check and complete Protecting God’s Children (PGC).
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans to meet academic goals and objectives.
• Integrate Catholic religious curriculum.
• Build and participate in the school's faith community and service activities.
• Establish effective classroom management and promote positive behavior.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
