Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 12 credit hours in education courses or a valid state certificate.
• Technology proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and internet use for educational purposes.
• Demonstrated competency in the subject area.
• Must pass archdiocesan Safe Environment Requirements and background screening.
• Must pass Texas DPS Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse screening.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters.
• Adheres to safety training and protocols daily to ensure safety of students and staff.
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned to the school curriculum and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
• Communicate with parents and stakeholders to discuss student progress and needs.
• Participate in faculty meetings and school committees as required.
