Job summary

St. Louis Catholic Covenant School in Pinecrest, Florida, a ministry of St.

Louis Catholic Parish, is seeking a full-time School Business Manager to oversee financial, HR, payroll, tuition management and administrative operations. The role reports to the Principal, collaborates with the Pastor, Finance Committee and Archdiocese of Miami, and ensures compliance with policies, GAAP, and Florida regulations while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, or school administration.
• Experience in nonprofit, Catholic, or school environments preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting is preferred.
• Proficiency with tuition management and HR/payroll systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the school with accurate records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, GL activity, and postings.
• Collaborate with Archdiocese and accounting staff for timely reporting.
• Lead budget development and monitor variances with stakeholders.
• Manage HR, payroll, onboarding, benefits, and personnel records.
• Oversee tuition management, financial aid, and scholarship programs.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with Archdiocesan policies.
• Support Principal and Pastor with financial planning and decision-making.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with laws.
• Provide administrative support and improve procedures for efficiency.
